This was with a musical and singing level of zero (or I must say below zero) that I decided to change it.

Google was my friend this day, I found Dave and decided to write him. To make it short, my message was:« Are you willing to accept a big challenge, that is to make me singing » , the same day Dave answers: “challenge accepted, let’s give it try next week”.

Since then, I do not regret my initiative.

Dave is a very good active listener and create a personalized program. During every lesson, the program is well balanced of challenge that are reachable, however, when Dave realizes that the ask is too high (or that I’m not good enough ;-)), he adjusts the challenge and/or take the exercise from another angle.

Fun is a key element of Dave’s lesson and yes, I have fun.

Dave helps me, to discover what I like and what I do not like when singing; this is key for the next steps. Also, the mutual trust that is created is very important and beneficial to make progress.

Dave helps as well help to understand Music theory, to write a song, and can accompany me on the guitar; this helps to make lesson every time fun and different.

Sure, way to go, as Dave says: “it is rare that a singer is fully happy with what he sings”:  -> “challenge accepted” to try to be as close as possible to this happiness. I’m looking forward for the next lesson.
